Who we are
Amare Therapy is the private practice of Wintana Amare, MACP, RP, a Registered Psychotherapist registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) (#14176).
Information collected through this website
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, preferred contact method, and your message. This is used only to reply to you.
- Consultation booking (Calendly): your name, email, and the time you choose. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to information you enter there.
- Client records: once you become a client, your clinical records and session bookings are kept in Jane, a secure practice management system designed for Canadian health privacy requirements. They are not stored on this website.
Please don't send health information through this site
The website contact form and email aren't intended for clinical information. Please share personal health details only during sessions or through the secure client portal.
Cookies & analytics
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded booking tools may set cookies that they need to work.
How long we keep information
Website enquiries that don't lead to a therapy relationship are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept as required by CRPO professional standards.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. Contact admin@amaretherapy.ca or call (613) 519-2063.
If you have concerns about how your personal health information is handled, you can also contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
